Simplex Creative Parallax Blogger Template (Free Premium)

Huy Dinh Quang (a.k.a. Nhamngahanh) from Simplexdesign has released yet another very clean and elegant parallax blogger template called the Simplex Creative. The design of this template is based on Wordpress Theme "Loom" by Elemis. Those who have used templates released by Simplex Design may know the standard of their templates and ease of use. However, for this template the installation process-cum-configuration may be a bit difficult (involves coding).

There is a built-in slider which looks quite good with its transitions & effects but on the downside it is a manual setup and cannot be automated to populate posts using labels. This means that you will have to configure this widgets by linking each image, title and sub-title on Edit HTML mode.

The parallax scrolling effect is balanced and doesn't look overdone in Simplex Creative. Moreover, it is also a responsive blogger template which means that it will work on all devices without requiring a separate mobile template. Parallax scrolling also seems to work on lower resolutions devices such as tablets, smartphones etc. You may see a DEMO from the link given above.

A couple of good looking widgets are added on the homepage such as advertisement blocks just below the slider, testimonial slider widget (manual), sticky header etc.

It supports two types of post format that includes a normal blog post and a portfolio post type. You can switch between the two by simply adding blog or gallery as label to the post.

Among other features are 2-column blog layout, stylish threaded comments, author bio box, recent post widget and a 4-column footer to name a few.
